Welcome to the July 2003 issue of Hot Hot Topics! This issue takes you behind the scenes on some important flowmeter topics. We hope you enjoy this issue. Company Visits gives a photo tour of a number of European and US flowmeter companies. Spotlight on Thermal discusses how thermal flowmeters should be classified. Are they new-tech meters or are they of the more traditional variety? Global Market to Expand summarizes the main results of a new flowmeter study that incorporates all ten flow technologies. Have you ever wondered how many 20 inch flowmeters are shipped every year? New Study on Line Sizes gives the details of a new worldwide study that Flow Research is conducting. The resulting study will provide detailed information on shipments of flowmeters by line sizes. You can participate by filling out the Supplier Input Form. |

New
Study on Flowmeter Line Sizes (PDF
File) Flow Research has begun a new study on
flowmeter line sizes. Our goal is to determine what percent of different
types of flowmeters are sold into various line sizes, from 1/16 inch to 20
inches and above. We believe that this information will be extremely
valuable, as it will enable suppliers to better understand their potential
markets. All flowmeter types will be included in the study. Our plan is to
do a two-pronged study that includes both supplier data and end-user data.
If you would like to participate in this study, please fill out our Supplier Input Form. Participants receive a discount on the study. |
